We are all so exhausted and the thought of having to face another day is already overwhelming.
We didn't get much sleep last night. It is so difficult to mentally rest and get some sleep.
This morning we have confirmation that there are 2 planes in the air coming here. Pray that they are allowed to land and that we can get the desperately needed supplies and doctors up here.
Kyrk and Chris are once again going down, hoping to have more success today. Pray for their safety and the God would work a miracle today.
We need those doctors and supplies. We are currently treating between 300 and 400 people. We only have 2-3 doctors and limited supplies.
We are very grateful to the staff and supplies that we have. We are hearing of many other places that are much worse off then we are, so we are praising God for what He has given us. Our doctors are amazing people. They are diligently serving even though they are very exhausted.
Continue to pray for strength for everyone.

Father, even now we come to YOU this morning, praising You for the safety of many, but our hearts break for the many who have died through this earthquake. Continue to give wisdom and direction to those who are helping, give needed strength for each day, help the Bakers specificially as a family and empower them to do all they can. Father, we pray too for this new life inside of Deborah, give her Your strength for each day through this last trimester we pray in Jesus' name, amen.

Father, we come to You this morning continuing to pray for the people of Haiti and the devastation there. We see through the help of CNN a lot of the collapsed homes and building, the help that is coming, the many who are digging for lost loved one. Oh Father, our heart breaks. Give the needed strength to those who remain, who are alive, who are looking for family members, for those who are trying to help all the needed injuries. Bring the doctors, the medical staff to those places. We know that many planes have arrived with supplies and people and we do thank you for the many different countries that are assisting at this time! Father, be with Deb and Kyrk at this time.. and give them the daily strength and wisdom. We lift this whole situation up to YOU in Jesus' name, amen.

My family is keeping you in our prayers. My son did a short-term missions trip with the mission some years back and told me of your blog. I will keep a watchful eye on your blog for updates on the situation and to know how to continue to pray for you, the mission, and the hospital. Thank you so much for taking the time to post, it sheds more light on the situation than the news.
I am just a regular prosperous person in the West. I have taken to read mission(aries) blogs like yours to balance the doom and gloom of the regular media. This is really the Good News. I wish you all the best and pray that you keep it together. With all admiration.
