Alexis is with Jesus

Thank you so much for praying for Alexis.
This morning her blood pressure started to drop and as a result her kidneys failed and then her lungs collapsed. The doctors were breathing manually for her for an hour, but after that there was nothing they could do.
We praise God that she was a Christian and her brother, who was with her is also a believer. After she died he said, "She is much better now and with Jesus." Then he turned to the doctors and thanked them for doing all that they could to help her.

We are all grieving along with the family, but rejoice that she is no longer in pain and is in heaven with the Lord.

Thank you for joining us in praying for her, and please continue to pray for this family.

Hi, Rob. Thanks for your sacrificial and incredible work in Haiti... and for the informative blog.
Do you have an e-mail address I can send a note to? We met last August in Maissade when I was with Don Reed and a team from Converge PacWest. We were scheduled to send teams again in February, but all that's up in the air right now.
We are exploring where God might want us to serve and in what capacity.
God bless you! Many are praying and giving!!

My name is Corrie and I visited BHM in 1999. My great-aunt, Mary Todd, lived and worked at BHM for around 25 years. She passed away several years ago after moving back to the States. Family has talked with Eleanor and we were thrilled to hear the mission survived the earthquake. Just found the blog through the BHM site - I looked the other day and it must have been down. Praying for all of you constantly!
