Monday

After a much needed day of rest for most of the people here, we have once again started a busy day.
Chris left early this morning, along with another driver, to bring more patients up from General Hospital. Continue to pray that we can safely and as gently as possible transport these patients.
Continue to also pray for Katiana. She is still critical, but it is encouraging that she is still holding on. God is answering prayers for her and we thank you for continuing to uphold her in prayer.
About 5 of the doctors who were here for the past week or more, left this morning. There were many sad goodbyes as they had to leave. The patients and national hospital staff were so thankful for what they had done and were very sad to see them leave.
God is providing some new doctors and nurses today to replace the ones that left. It truly is a blessing to have Samaritan's Purse here organizing all of this for us and providing the needed staff to work along side our diligent national staff.
Continue to pray for strength for the national doctors and nurses. They have worked so hard. Pray especially for Madame Carfar. She is such a diligent servant who has spent many long hour days serving in the OR prep room. Pray that God continues to give her strength.

Madame Carfar preparing OR supplies.
