Great vacation and back to normal

First of all I want to thank all those who were praying for the healing on my ear. I was very concerned that it would give me problems when I flew, but it was no trouble. I have all my hearing back and it is almost 100% back to normal. Thank you so much for the prayers.
Our vacation was wonderful. We were able to spend 4 days alone, resting and relaxing. Then on the weekend we attended a missions conference. The church was wonderful, we met some great people and overall it was a wonderful experience.
We spent Sunday afternoon with Kyrk's sister's family and his brother along with his wife. Then went to Canada to spend 2 days with my parents.
Overall it was a perfect week and we came back refreshed and ready to continue on with the ministry.
Thank you especially to Grandma and Grandpa Baker who watched our children.

update on my ear & vacation

I thought I should write and let everyone know how my ear is healing. First of all thank you to everyone who was praying for the healing of my ear. It is still not 100% but it is getting better. We went back to the specialist last Wednesday and he said that it looks like I will have full healing but it will just take time. I praise the Lord that most of the hearing is back!
Next week Kyrk and I are taking a much needed vacation. We are going to Michigan for a few days, speaking at a missions conference and then heading to Canada for a great Thanksgiving dinner with my parents. We are really looking forward to this time away and pray that it will be a time of renewal and refreshment.
The children are all staying with Grandma and Grandpa Baker, so I'm sure they would appreciate your prayers as they take care of 4 small children for 8 days.
