A few days ago I mentioned a little boy named Pierre Richard who had severe head injuries. We transferred him to the Isreali hospital and later found out that they transferred him to the USS Comfort. We have had no news since.
This morning his mother came and asked us if we could help her find out about her little boy. Her husband is with their son, but she has no way to communicate with him. Neither of them have phones so they don't know anything about each other. The mother is very worried and would really like an update on her son.
Pray that some how we would be able to find out what has happened to Pierre and his father. Pray also the God would continue to comfort the mother. This is a very difficult time for her, not knowing what is happening.
She has no house to go to and is really struggling right now.

On the US Haitian embassy website there is a "people finder" section that may help. There is also an email address on the site, info below. Do you still have any contact w/US military--their command officers should be able to help provide contact info also.

Thank you Joyce for your suggestions. WE were actually able to get a phone number for patient follow up on the Comfort. We are still waiting for them to call us back, but hopefully we hear something.
